Come join us at Kahl Home! We are a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 1955. Our state-of-the-art services, amenities, and excellent staff make Kahl Home a premier nursing facility in the Quad Cities. We are seeking to hire a Physical Therapist - Part-Time.

Requirements

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited College or University.
IA License and current registration as a Therapist (Should be a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.)

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform evaluations, design treatment plans and administer physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician.
Supervise professional and non-professional physical therapy staff.
Assign case load and other related tasks to physical therapy staff.
Coordinate physical therapy program with other services for assigned residents.
Complete required documentation for residents’ medical records.
Record daily attendance for statistical record keeping.
Schedule daily treatments.
Participate in In-Service Education program.
Provide recommendations to Restorative Nursing Staff.
