About The Position

Kona Medical Consulting and Springboard Therapy is looking for a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team. The role involves helping children aged 0-21 with various conditions, including developmental coordination disorder (DCD), autism, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, and genetic conditions. The therapy programs include Traditional Pediatric PT, focused on motor development, strength, and coordination in a play-based environment, and a Neuromotor & Intensive Program utilizing advanced tools like Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), whole body vibration therapy, NMES, FES, and gait training. The position is based in Whippany, New Jersey.

Requirements

• Licensed (or soon-to-be licensed) Physical Therapist.
• Experience or strong interest in working with children aged 0-21.
• Creative, curious, and team-oriented.
• Positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with DMI, NMES, FES, vibration therapy, or gait training (training provided if new to these tools).

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric physical therapy services to children aged 0-21.
• Focus on motor development, strength, and coordination in a play-based environment.
• Utilize advanced tools and techniques for children with complex neurological profiles, such as DMI, whole body vibration therapy, NMES, FES, and gait training.
• Collaborate with occupational and speech therapists for co-treatment and idea sharing.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
