Requirements

BS, MS, or DPT in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
Current Physical Therapy license and CPR required

Nice To Haves

Orthopedic experience preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient conditions and functional limitations
Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop individualized treatment plans
Communicate clearly with patients about goals, expectations, and progress
Apply clinical knowledge and diagnostic findings to guide treatment
Establish meaningful short- and long-term goals
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient progress
Teach proper therapeutic exercise techniques and ensure patient safety
Guide patients through post-surgical rehabilitation protocols
Collaborate with PTAs and therapy technicians to coordinate care
Manage scheduling to optimize productivity and patient access
Maintain and update Plans of Care in alignment with medical directives
Communicate effectively with physicians and administrative teams
Provide evaluation and treatment services to a variety of patients in accordance with the physician referral and Plan of Care.
Direct patient participation in activities and exercise programs to restore, reinforce and enhance performance while performing exceptional patient care.
Provide patient education and set expectations for progression of treatment.
Work closely with physicians and other health care team members as part of a collaborative approach to patient care.
