Requirements

  • BS, MS, or DPT in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
  • Current Physical Therapy license and CPR required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient conditions and functional limitations
  • Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Communicate clearly with patients about goals, expectations, and progress
  • Apply clinical knowledge and diagnostic findings to guide treatment
  • Establish meaningful short- and long-term goals
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient progress
  • Teach proper therapeutic exercise techniques and ensure patient safety
  • Guide patients through post-surgical rehabilitation protocols
  • Collaborate with PTAs and therapy technicians to coordinate care
  • Manage scheduling to optimize productivity and patient access
  • Maintain and update Plans of Care in alignment with medical directives
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and administrative teams
  • Provide evaluation and treatment services to a variety of patients in accordance with the physician referral and Plan of Care.
  • Direct patient participation in activities and exercise programs to restore, reinforce and enhance performance while performing exceptional patient care.
  • Provide patient education and set expectations for progression of treatment.
  • Work closely with physicians and other health care team members as part of a collaborative approach to patient care.
