This position is within the ICE | MUSL Physical Therapy Inpatient department.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2002 OR Master’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2016 OR Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure.
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

Performs examinations, evaluations, and establishes plans of care including goals and recommendations for discharge.
Provides daily treatment to promote functional independence and modifies treatment programs.
Performs documentation in EHR.
Coordinates/communicates with interdisciplinary team.
Participates in program improvement, clinical education, and customer service standards.
Performs comprehensive examination of patients using appropriate tests/measures, completes the evaluation, and formulates an individualized plan of care.
Provides evidence based quality patient treatment and education and monitors patient for physiological status during sessions.
Responsive to needs/requests outside of direct patient care.
May include serving as a Clinical Instructor, providing presentations, serving on committees/teams, performing program development//projects, developing educational materials, providing education to coworkers after attending continuing education that was supported by travel or educational leave, etc
Consistently meets departmental productivity target.
Completes accurate and thorough documentation in a timely manner following regulatory policies. Submits accurate and complete charges and daily summary sheets.
Adheres to UAMS/Department policy for attendance; reports for all scheduled shifts on time and completes shift duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
