Come join our team: recently declared a DEFICIENCY FREE 5 STAR facility! This skilled nursing facility is seeking a qualified and proficient Physical Therapist to come aboard, FULL-TIME. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries, ensuring they regain their mobility and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in orthopedics or acute care settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations through assessments.
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve mobility and strength.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and home care strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
