About The Position

We are seeking a Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist (PT) will help patients regain mobility and function after illness, injury, or surgery through assessments, exercises, and early mobilization. They also assist with pain management, educate patients and families, and support discharge planning to ensure safe transitions after hospitalization.

Requirements

• Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient's mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional limitations
• Develop individualized therapy plans to improve movement and function based on the patient’s condition and goals
• Assist patients in regaining function after surgery (e.g., joint replacements, cardiac procedures)
• Use techniques such as manual therapy, positioning, and guided movement to reduce pain and improve comfort
• Teach patients and caregivers how to perform exercises, use assistive devices (like walkers), and follow safety practices at home
