About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is looking for a PRN Physical Therapist to join their Outpatient team in Allen, TX. This role involves treating patients with general orthopedic conditions, including those requiring manual therapy, and potentially some high-level neuro patients. The average patient caseload is 10 patients per day. The position requires timely and accurate documentation using Therap-e-Bridge, interpretation of patient data, and ensuring medical orders are processed correctly. The role also focuses on promoting continuous quality improvement and providing instruction and counseling to patients and their families.

Requirements

Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
Patient Case Load Average: 10 patients a day
Timely and accurate documentation using Therap-e-Bridge
Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
Promoting continuous quality improvement
Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed
