About The Position
As a Physical Therapist in our Home Health Care team, you'll bring energy and expertise to every client interaction. You will partner with our therapy supervisor to design and deliver personalized physical therapy treatment programs that get results. You will get creative with therapeutic techniques—from therapeutic heat and aquatic therapy to targeted exercises—all tailored to help clients conquer pain and reclaim their mobility. You will work one-on-one with rehabilitative clients in their homes, providing compassionate care and motivating them toward their recovery goals. You will implement evidence-based treatment plans that restore physical function and improve quality of life. You will track progress, celebrate wins with your clients, and adjust treatment strategies to keep momentum going. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless, coordinated care. Requirements
- A specific level of technical knowledge and the applications of various treatment interventions in order to relieve pain and/or restore a physiological function.
- Current State of Michigan Licensure in order to practice as a registered physical therapist.
- The ability to lift and position clients and to perform treatment modalities.
- A high level of interpersonal skill is required to effectively interface with clients and physicians.
- Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation and a telephone.
