About The Position

This outpatient orthopedic clinic in Oak Grove, MO provides physical therapy services for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The clinic serves patients from age 11 to 90 and sees approximately 160–190 patient visits per week. The clinical team includes 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants, and documentation is completed through WebPT. The clinic accepts BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, TRICARE, Humana, and Aetna. The Physical Therapist will provide patient evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, deliver therapy services, educate patients, and monitor progress from the first visit through discharge. Requirements

Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure

Outpatient orthopedic experience is helpful, but not required
Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills
Ability to work professionally with patients across different ages and conditions

Responsibilities

Evaluate patient movement, pain, strength, balance, mobility, and functional ability
Create individualized care plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
Provide physical therapy interventions for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility training, balance work, and functional rehabilitation
Educate patients on home exercise programs and safe activity modifications
Track progress and adjust plans of care when clinically appropriate
Document evaluations, daily visits, progress notes, and discharge plans in WebPT
Work with PTAs and clinical team members to support patient care
