About The Position
We are looking for a Physical Therapist who wants to build a meaningful career in outpatient orthopedics. In this position, you will work with patients across different ages and activity levels, helping them improve strength, movement, pain management, and overall function. The caseload is primarily orthopedic and musculoskeletal, with patients ranging from 11 to 90 years old. You will have the support of an established clinical team while still having the opportunity to grow your own skills and clinical confidence.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills
- Comfortable working with patients across different ages and activity levels
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient orthopedic experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and identify areas affecting movement, strength, pain, and function
- Develop treatment plans that align with patient goals and clinical needs
- Provide physical therapy services for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Guide patients through exercises, movement retraining, balance work, and strengthening programs
- Provide manual therapy and other appropriate interventions
- Help patients understand their recovery plan and home exercises
- Track patient outcomes and revise treatment plans when appropriate
- Complete documentation using WebPT
- Work with PTAs and other team members to keep care consistent
