Evaluates patients and develops patient-specific physical therapy treatment programs. Monitors, reassesses, and modifies treatment programs to meet patient needs on an ongoing basis. Coordinates, delegates, and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (physical therapist assistants, rehab aides, students, etc.). Performs treatments demonstrating awareness of growth and development for each population group. Applies knowledge of population-specific needs when assessing/caring for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients according to psychosocial and developmental needs.
