About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Physical Therapist to our Adult Outpatient Rehab Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity with the team at our Baptist Silverleaf outpatient rehab clinic. We are looking to hire an experienced Physical Therapist for our team. This full-time position will work with an adult caseload at our outpatient clinic providing general musculoskeletal care. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience in outpatient orthopedics.
Requirements
- 1 or more year(s) of Physical Therapy Experience
- General outpatient rehab experience
- Experience with Post-Operative Orthopedic Care
- Orthopedics
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy Required
- Licensed Physical Therapist from FL Department of Health Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Required
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of recent experience in outpatient orthopedics.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy treatment to patients.
- Provide patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury or disease.
- Oversee support staff.
- Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities.
- Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
- Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.
