Physical Therapist, PRN, Acute Care Rehab
About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for their Acute Care Rehab Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This PRN Days position is located at Baptist Medical Center in downtown Jacksonville. PRN team members are expected to work at least 3 shifts per month and will be included in the weekend/holiday rotation. The role involves evaluating, planning, directing, and administering physical therapy treatments to patients to help improve or restore function and prevent disability. The Physical Therapist will also oversee support staff, participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities, remain within budget guidelines, and fulfill mandatory education and licensure requirements.
Requirements
- 1 or more year(s) Experience working in an Acute Care setting strongly preferred
- Orthopedics and Neuro Experience
- Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Required
- Licensed Physical Therapist from FL Department of Health Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Required

- Master's Degree Preferred
