About The Position
The Physical Therapist I provides acute care physical therapy services to restore function, improve mobility, and support safe patient discharge. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with structured onboarding and mentorship to support a successful transition into acute care.
Requirements
- Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current state Physical Therapy license.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop plans of care
- Deliver therapeutic interventions including mobility, gait, and functional training
- Support early mobility and patient progression during hospitalization
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on treatment and safety
- Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation
