About The Position
Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for their Rehab Services department. This role involves evaluating patient conditions, developing individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients and families, delivering skilled manual therapy and evidence-based interventions, and directing the daily activities of physical therapist assistants, students, and support staff.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
- Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Nice To Haves
- Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates patient conditions through comprehensive initial and ongoing physical assessments.
- Develops individualized plans of care by collaborating with patients and families to establish recovery goals.
- Delivers skilled manual therapy and evidence-based interventions tailored to specific patient pathologies.
- Directs the daily activities of physical therapist assistants, students, and support staff to ensure clinical safety and quality.
