About The Position

Ascension St. Vincent's Southside Hospital is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join their team. This role involves leading clinical diagnostics through comprehensive assessments, developing patient-centered care plans, delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, providing clinical leadership by mentoring PTAs and support staff, and driving patient progress through data-driven evaluations.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead clinical diagnostics by conducting comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate mobility, strength, and functional needs.
Develop patient-centered plans of care that prioritize individual goals and integrate family support for holistic recovery.
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ranging from manual therapy to neuromuscular re-education, tailored to each patient's unique pathology.
Provide clinical leadership by mentoring and overseeing PTAs, students, and support staff to maintain high standards of care.
Drive patient progress through data-driven evaluations, refining treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes and timely discharge.
