About The Position

Sentara is hiring Physical Therapists for multiple Outpatient Therapy Centers located in Southside Hampton Roads Area (Norfolk, Va. Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, & Elizbeth City). Specialties include General Outpatient Orthopedic, Sports & Spine, Pelvic Floor, Neuro, and Lymphedema. As a Physical Therapist with Sentara, you will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. You will also provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers, and supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Requirements

Bachelor's of Physical Therapy or Higher
VA License of Physical Therapy
BLS

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
