About The Position
Physical Therapist – Boca Raton Outpatient Rehab Opportunity What the Day Looks Like Your day will include evaluating patients, building care plans, providing hands-on treatment, progressing exercises, educating patients, and helping people return to daily movement with less pain and better function. This role is based in a PT-owned orthopedic outpatient office in Fort Lauderdale, FL with a patient volume of 2 patients per hour.
Requirements
- Active Florida Physical Therapist License
- DPT Degree or MSPT Degree
- Outpatient experience required, including clinical rotation experience for new graduates
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and determine appropriate treatment goals
- Treat orthopedic injuries, post-surgical cases, pain, weakness, and mobility limitations
- Use manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional activities
- Educate patients on recovery, home exercises, and injury prevention
- Modify treatment based on patient response
- Complete treatment notes and progress reports
- Partner with PTAs to support patient outcomes
