Requirements

Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
New graduates are welcome to apply
Strong clinical reasoning and patient education skills
Ability to work professionally with patients across a wide age range

Nice To Haves

Outpatient orthopedic experience is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and identify therapy needs related to orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical assessment
Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance work, mobility training, and functional activities
Educate patients on home exercise programs, recovery expectations, and safe activity changes
Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
Complete accurate documentation using WebPT
Coordinate care with PTAs and fellow clinical team members
Support patients in improving independence, function, and return to daily routines
