About The Position

This position is primarily outpatient, with occasional floating to acute care areas as needed for coverage. The Physical Therapist directs the evaluation, development, coordination and implementation of physical therapy intervention provided to patients. Provides physical therapy services under the guidelines set by the Practice Act and Rules of the Texas Board of Physical Therapy. Serves as a patient advocate assuring the delivery of physical therapy meets legal, ethical and institutional standards, while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, guidelines, policies and procedures of the department and the organization. The Senior Physical Therapist also directs the evaluation, development, coordination, and implementation of physical therapy intervention provided to patients and serves as a patient advocate assuring the delivery of physical therapy meets legal, ethical and institutional standards while adhering to the philosophy, objective, policies and procedures of the department and the organization.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy or Doctoral from an accredited program.
• Zero (0) years' related experience (for Physical Therapist).
• Five years' related experience (for Senior Physical Therapist).
• Texas PT licensure through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (TBPTE).
• Maintain active BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (Approved by American Heart Association).
