Physical Therapist – Home Visits
About The Position
AmeriStaff Nursing Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to provide in-home therapy visits to patients throughout the Metro Detroit area, including the City of Sterling Heights and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to deliver meaningful one-on-one patient care while maintaining a flexible schedule. As a Physical Therapist with AmeriStaff, you will play an important role in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence while receiving care in the comfort of their homes. This is a contingent home visit position that offers autonomy, flexibility, and competitive visit-based compensation. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current, valid, and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the State of Michigan
- Minimum one (1) year of Physical Therapy experience
- Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy services during in-home patient visits across the Metro Detroit area
- Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety practices
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Ensure compliance with all clinical standards, documentation requirements, and HIPAA regulations
