About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Inpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans for adult and pediatric patients to restore function and improve mobility outcomes within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program required
- Active Massachusetts PT License required
- Current BLS Certification required
Nice To Haves
- Strong inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
- Specialist Certification required for PT Clinical Specialist positions
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and establish measurable treatment goals and care plans
- Perform diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability testing
- Administer therapeutic treatments and modify plans based on patient progress
- Document patient care, education, and interdisciplinary communication accurately
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic procedures and home programs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams regarding patient progress and discharge planning
- Supervise and guide PT Assistants, aides, and students
- Maintain compliance with departmental policies, safety, and infection control standards
- Participate in meetings, quality improvement, and continuing education activities
