About The Position

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a dynamic Physical Therapist to join their outpatient Physical Therapy office on Oregon Avenue in South Philadelphia. The therapist will work in an office with two additional physical therapists and will be responsible for treating a wide variety of orthopedic cases, as well as sports medicine and geriatrics. The position offers a comprehensive mentoring program, access to resources from the largest outpatient provider in the country, journal clubs, journal articles, and experienced therapists. NovaCare Rehabilitation focuses on creating an exceptional patient experience to help patients return to their desired activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
• CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• Comfort with sports medicine and geriatrics
• Experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic cases

Responsibilities

• Complete and maintain all corporate and clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations
• Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients
• Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members and third-party payors
• Attend/participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager
