About The Position

The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services to patients with various diagnoses as prescribed by a licensed physician.

Requirements

• Florida License
• BLS approved by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Establishes a plan of care that corresponds to the proper diagnosis and functional limitations.
• Delivery of treatment is effective / appropriate and corresponds to plan of care.
• Identifies contraindications to the plan of care and informs the manager and physician as indicated.
• Documentation is completed on time.
• Documentation is legible.
• Documentation errors are very rare.
• Units produced correspond to hours worked.
• Helps other therapist complete their case load prior to leaving work.
• Informs the manager when there are openings in the schedule.
• Able to perform all job duties as described in the department specific competencies.
• Readily identifies contraindications to plan of care.
• Resourceful. Able to solve problems. Requests guidance from the manager when indicated.
• Nonscheduled time off is limited to sickness and emergencies.
• Scheduled work shifts are punctual.
• Adapts schedule to facility needs when indicated.
