The Physical Therapist provides personalized, evidence-based care, develops patient-specific treatment and wellness plans, monitors progress, and documents care. Rates depend on position, years of applicable experience, and employment type; the stated ranges include per diem levels without benefits and independent contractors.

Requirements

Valid state PT license.
Master’s degree from an accredited physical therapy school.
Good organizational skills.
Good written skills.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs.
Offer cost-effective treatments that improve clients’ motion and mobility.
Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery.
Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs.
Provide quality, personalized, evidence-based care and proven interventions.
Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally.
Promote clients’ healthy lifestyles by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
Consult and practice with other health professionals.
Evaluate treatment effects and monitor and communicate progress.
Document patient care services.
