Requirements

Graduate of Physical Therapy Program from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
CT active or temporary license

Responsibilities

Upon referral, conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical function—including strength, mobility, motor control, joint health, pain levels, balance, posture, and cardiopulmonary performance.
Assess vitals, endurance, gait, and daily living capabilities with precision and compassion.
Design personalized, patient-centered treatment plans that promote optimal movement, safety, and long-term wellness.
Implement and delegate care using a wide range of therapeutic interventions—from heat, cold, and light therapy to mobilization and targeted exercise.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team—including Rehab Therapists, Nurses, and Social Workers—to ensure seamless care coordination.
Play a key role in discharge planning and connecting patients with community resources to support their ongoing recovery.
