About The Position

HealthPro Heritage has a great Physical Therapy (PT) opportunity! This is a part-time position (10 hours per week) with room to grow, located at Sunrise of Dublin in Dublin, OH, within an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting. The role involves treating residents to improve their mobility, balance, strength, and overall quality of life, focusing on fall prevention, balance training, gait improvement, and functional mobility to help residents remain independent. You will build lasting relationships with residents, work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, and practice in a supportive senior living environment with clinical autonomy. The position offers valuable experience with geriatric, neurological, orthopedic, and chronic condition populations in a beautiful, well-maintained community. Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, or license eligible
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and flexibility.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments to enhance functionality and alleviate pain.
  • Educate patients and families on exercises, posture, and body mechanics to aid recovery, prevent injuries, and offer guidance on home routines and lifestyle changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
