PRN Physical Therapist - Acute Care
About The Position

This role involves providing rehabilitation therapy services to patients, primarily a geriatric population, in an acute care hospital setting. The hospital is a 132-bed facility with multiple floors, including a critical care unit and a step-down unit. The facility holds Joint Commission certifications for joint hip and total knee programs and has a primary stroke certification. Requirements
- Graduate of a CAPTE approved physical therapy program.
- Current or pending state licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to exceed their functional outcome.
- Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs.
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (e.g., physicians, case management, nurses, etc.).
