Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy
  • Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
  • Prefer a minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience

Responsibilities

  • Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following injury, illness, or surgery.
  • Develops and implements rehabilitation programs consistent with the physician’s plan of treatment and revises plans as patient needs change.
  • Collaborates with physicians and clinical team members to obtain patient information and coordinate effective care.
  • Instructs, motivates, and assists patients with both manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises.
  • Maintains accurate documentation, including daily progress notes and correspondence with providers.
  • Educates patients and referring providers on the established plan of care.
  • Develops and implements rehabilitation programs aligned with physician treatment plans.
  • Collaborates with physicians and clinical team members to assess, implement, and revise therapy plans.
  • Administers manual therapeutic exercises to support patient recovery.
  • Maintains required documentation, including progress notes and provider correspondence.
