About The Position
We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Raytown. This role is centered on helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and overall function through evaluation, treatment planning, skilled therapy, and patient education. The primary caseload includes orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Patients range from 11 to 90 years old, creating a varied clinical day with different recovery goals, activity levels, and treatment needs.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong patient education, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work with patients across different ages and mobility levels
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete physical therapy evaluations and reassessments
- Develop treatment plans based on patient goals, diagnosis, and functional limitations
- Provide therapy for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and daily movement
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and safe activity progression
- Track progress and update treatment plans when clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate clinical records using WebPT
- Communicate with PTAs to support consistent patient care
