Requirements

  • Graduate of Physical Therapy Program from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school; Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
  • CT active or temporary license
  • Any experience level welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Upon referral, conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical function—including strength, mobility, motor control, joint health, pain levels, balance, posture, and cardiopulmonary performance.
  • Assess vitals, endurance, gait, and daily living capabilities with precision and compassion.
  • Design personalized, patient-centered treatment plans that promote optimal movement, safety, and long-term wellness.
  • Implement and delegate care using a wide range of therapeutic interventions—from heat, cold, and light therapy to mobilization and targeted exercise.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team—including Rehab Therapists, Nurses, and Social Workers—to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Play a key role in discharge planning and connecting patients with community resources to support their ongoing recovery.
