Physical Therapist
About The Position
Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a creative, compassionate Physical Therapist to provide individualized rehabilitative care to senior patients in senior living communities. The role offers the opportunity to build relationships with patients, collaborate with a rehabilitation team, and help residents improve their quality of life. Treatment is delivered one on one in private sessions using a functional-based approach, rather than in a group setting. The Physical Therapist provides rehabilitative services under specific medical orders, plans treatment programs based on clinical findings, and participates in clinical conferences to coordinate patient care. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements. Pay is $40.00–$50.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Degree in the area of discipline.
- Current Physical Therapy license in the state of practice, or ability to obtain it before beginning employment.
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
- Computer proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
- Plan initial and subsequent treatment programs based on clinical findings.
- Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patient plans of care.
- Deliver individualized, one-on-one private treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach.
