Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Current Physical Therapy License in the state of Illinois required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for patient care and building long-term relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented clinical environment.
  • Commitment to accurate documentation and high-quality care.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Prior outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled physical therapy evaluation and treatment services to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Educate patients throughout their recovery.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with clinic and payer standards.
  • Deliver high-quality, hands-on care in a supportive team environment that values strong patient relationships, clinical collaboration, and work-life balance.
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
  • Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Deliver hands-on care and therapeutic exercise instruction in an outpatient setting.
  • Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Educate and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey.
  • Collaborate with other clinical team members to support continuity of care.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional treatment environment.
  • Complete accurate, timely documentation in accordance with clinic procedures and payer requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff regarding treatment plans, scheduling needs, and follow-up care.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and other clinic initiatives as needed.
  • Follow clinic policies and procedures, including confidentiality and safety protocols.
  • Support a positive patient experience and a collaborative work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned that are consistent with this role.
