Physical Therapist- Outpatient
About The Position
Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to help patients reach their goals through personalized treatment plans. The role is based in clinics with trained support staff and state-of-the-art space and equipment. Candidates at all experience levels are encouraged to apply, including new graduates, who will receive training. The position offers mentorship, leadership development, manageable caseloads, education support, career growth opportunities, board exam tutoring, an OCS residency partnership, and AI-assisted documentation.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist in New York or eligible for licensure.
- Ability to evaluate a patient’s need for physical therapy and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
- Ability to provide care and treatment based on physician care plans, agency policy, and professional standards of care.
- Experience instructing family members, PTAs, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
- First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications are mandatory.
