Physical Therapist PRN - Weekends
About The Position
Vertis Therapy is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist for weekend coverage at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru, Indiana. The role involves working with patients in a hospital setting and offers flexible PRN weekend hours. Vertis Therapy is therapist-owned and operated and emphasizes supporting its therapists, collaboration, flexibility, and quality patient care. The Physical Therapist evaluates patients’ functional abilities, develops and implements individualized treatment plans, provides skilled physical therapy services, and monitors progress toward improving safety, functional mobility, and independence. The role also includes timely documentation, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, appropriate guidance and supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants, and participation in or leadership of team development meetings.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid state Physical Therapist license or license eligibility.
- Strong clinical assessment skills.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
- Computer proficiency for documentation in an electronic medical record platform.
Responsibilities
