About The Position

PruittHealth is hiring a Physical Therapist Traveler to provide therapy services and support residents with care and compassion. The position is based at 2255 Anthony Road, Macon, GA 31204. The Physical Therapist completes evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and individualized care plans; maintains timely and accurate documentation; follows policies and procedures applicable to the scope of practice; and responds to patient-care priorities with initiative and sound judgment. The role also requires successful and timely completion of orientations, in-services, and training, as well as other duties assigned by a supervisor. Applicants must hold a valid professional license in the state of practice and graduate from a CAPTE-accredited school. For foreign-trained applicants, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to U.S. entry-level Physical Therapist education by an APTA-approved credential evaluation organization.

Responsibilities

Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized physical therapy care plan.
Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner.
Follow established policies and procedures related to the scope of practice.
Recognize and respond to patient-care priorities, demonstrating initiative and sound judgment.
Successfully and promptly complete required orientations, in-services, and trainings.
Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by the supervisor.
