About The Position

Select Physical Therapy is launching a Discharge Program at Ridgefield Surgery Center. Physical Therapist will be responsible for discharging total joint patients that are having same day surgery. Discharge planning will include transfer training, gait training and stair training. Each DC will take 15-30 minutes and pays $60/visit. Select Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN physical therapist for our In-Home Physical Therapy Program in Connecticut. This unique opportunity deals with patients needing In-Home physical therapy following total joint replacements. If you are looking for a healthy and active patient population to treat in the home setting, this caseload of patients is 100% s/p total joint replacement. Our organization is an outpatient center so documentation is much less cumbersome that traditional Home Health. An ideal physical therapist has solid ortho skills, but we ARE able to consider a new graduate physical therapist. Mileage is paid as part of the compensation package.

Requirements

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
CPR certification

Responsibilities

Complete and maintain all corporate and clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations
Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients
Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members and third-party payors
Attend/participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager
