About The Position
Corwell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT w/cardiac scoring, Fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK & elastography). Corewell Health physical therapy provides treatments to individuals of all ages that have pain or physical limitations affecting their ability to move and perform everyday activities. Our team of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants are licensed health care professionals focused on maximizing movement potential, injury prevention, treatment, and sustainable wellness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Michigan State License in Physical Therapy required.
- BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Masters or Doctorate Degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Examining, evaluating and developing a treatment plan for patients with functional limitations and disabilities.
- Providing consultation to healthcare providers regarding a patient’s continuum of care.
- Appropriately interacting with all patients regardless of age or culture and to adhere to the Corewell Health customer service standards.
