Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current North Carolina Physical Therapist License
• BLS required
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, documentation and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• Hospital, orthopedic or rehabilitation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations including strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, posture, muscle performance, respiration and motor function.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and modalities.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and assistive devices.
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety activities.
