About The Position

Our Lady of the Angels Hospital, part of FMOL Health, is seeking a Physical Therapist. The health system was organized in 1984 to unite three existing hospitals in Louisiana and currently employs over 10,000 individuals. Our Lady of the Angels Hospital's team members are dedicated to serving the Washington Parish community with quality healthcare. This role involves evaluating patients, creating treatment plans, and providing therapy services. Collaboration with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals is essential. Accurate documentation and potential supervision of physical therapy assistants, therapy techs, and students are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Ability to evaluate/assess patient needs and formulate treatment plans.
• Proficiency in providing therapy services.
• Strong collaboration skills with healthcare team members.
• Accurate documentation skills.
• Potential to supervise physical therapy assistants, therapy techs, and students.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating/assessing needs of referred patients and formulating treatment plans.
• Providing therapy services defined in treatment plans.
• Working cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy services in the medical record.
• May supervise physical therapy assistants, therapy techs, and students.
