About The Position

SSM Health Rehabilitation-Acute Care is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join their team at SSM Health St. Joseph's Hospital in Lake Saint Louis, MO. This position offers two tiers of engagement: Tier I requires 1 shift per month (including one weekend shift) with a rate of $47/hour plus weekend differential, and one holiday shift. Tier II requires 3 shifts per month (at least two weekend shifts) with a rate of $52/hour plus weekend differential, and one summer and one winter holiday shift. SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis, established in 1986, is a 216-bed hospital serving western St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren Counties. It is a Level III Trauma Center, a Level II STEMI Center, and specializes in obstetric and pediatric care. This role also serves as a potential pipeline for future Full-Time Physical Therapy positions.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
• Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
