The Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 16-bed CARF Accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility within GW Hospital, holding specialty accreditation in stroke and amputation. Our professional rehab staff collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patients’ functional recovery, facilitate successful discharges, and elevate patient care through unit and system-based quality initiatives, evidence-based research and practice, and interdisciplinary care.
