About The Position

Join Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute and become part of one of the world’s most respected healthcare organizations. We are expanding with a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor, state-of-the-art facility on Cleveland Clinic Main Campus designed to elevate care for complex neurological conditions — including spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and stroke. This advanced building brings every stage of care under one roof, featuring dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown, ICU and epilepsy monitoring, as well as additional operating rooms and expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep and rehabilitation services. We are welcoming new caregivers to collaborate within our multidisciplinary teams and contribute to nationally recognized, innovative neurological care. This position blends clinical expertise with meaningful patient connection, as therapists work closely with individuals navigating pain and recovery. Success in this role requires strong collaboration within the care team, effective time management, and excellent interpersonal communication. Empathy and a service-oriented mindset are essential, as therapists motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or certificate
  • Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient condition.
  • Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care appropriate to problems identified and involve the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.
  • Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.
  • Supervise activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, students and other support personnel.
