About The Position

Synaptic Rehabilitation is a clinician-owned therapy practice dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care throughout New Jersey. Our newly established outpatient clinic in Bridgewater is a specialized rehabilitation facility with a strong focus on treating Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions. In addition to orthopedic rehabilitation, we are proud to lead innovative treatment programs, group classes, and support initiatives designed to empower individuals with Parkinson’s and improve quality of life through movement and education. We are also a committed community partner, actively collaborating with the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) and the Parkinson’s Foundation to bring high-impact services and resources to our patients. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing outpatient team. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a purpose-driven, supportive environment where clinicians are valued as leaders in patient care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for neurological rehabilitation, particularly working with individuals with Parkinson’s disease, along with a desire to make a meaningful impact within the local community.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Active New Jersey Physical Therapy License (or eligible to obtain).
  • Strong interest or experience in treating neurologic conditions, especially Parkinson’s disease.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a clinician-led, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver high-quality physical therapy services tailored to orthopedic and neurological populations.
  • Focus on improving patient outcomes related to gait, balance, strength, mobility, and functional independence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, effective care.
  • Participate in community outreach, support groups, and wellness programs geared toward Parkinson’s education and empowerment.
