About The Position

We are looking for a Full Time, Physical Therapist (Inpatient) to join our Therapy Services Team! This role involves providing a full range of Physical Therapy services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring patient comfort and safety, maintaining a clean environment, and adhering to professional practices and ethical standards. The position is located in Kingman, Arizona, a community known for its mild climate and outdoor recreational opportunities.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an APTA approved four year bachelor’s degree program, or foreign equivalent.
  • Current PT License through the AZ Board of Physical Therapy.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Recent experience working with an adult and geriatric population.
  • Ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, crouch, and communicate to provide therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a Physical Therapy evaluation or screen.
  • Develop an individualized Plan of Care with functional goals.
  • Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify plan as necessary.
  • Document the course of patient care including progress made and the continuing need for treatment.
  • Provide patient and/or family education to help achieve goals.
  • Communicates and demonstrates a professional image for patients, families, clients, coworkers, and others.
  • Adhere to policies, rules, and regulations from KHI, Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy, and Medicare.
  • Assists with orientation of new staff as requested.
  • Meets KHI requirements for skills competency and safety.
  • Participate in continuing education/professional development activities.
  • Assists with the Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student program.
  • Participate in staff meetings, client relation and marketing activities.
  • Documentation is complete and accurate, meeting all KHI, Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy, and Medicare regulatory requirements.
  • Billing is completed by the end of each shift, accurate, meets reasonable and necessary requirements, and is justified in the documentation.
  • Individual productivity meets department standards.
  • Patient satisfaction will meet or exceed department standards.
