About The Position

The Physical Therapist II provides a full range of physical therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning. The essential functions listed below are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties that may be assigned to this position, nor does it restrict the duties which may be assigned to this position if such duties reasonably relate to the position. The successful candidate for this job posting will work at the new Acute Rehab Hospital in Irvine, a joint UCI Health / LifePoint venture.

Requirements

Required to float between UCI Health locations as needed
Physical Therapy License or proof of eligibility from California Board of Physical Therapy
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a licensed physical therapist
If assigned to work with infants and children aged 0 to 21, CCS paneling/approval will be required within one year of hire if qualified for CCS paneling requirement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to travel to clinics, and other campus offices as determined by patient and scheduling needs.
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Basic Life Support
Must be able to provide proof of work authorization
