About The Position

Atlantic Health is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist for the Inpatient PT Department at Morristown Medical Center. This role will provide their time and expertise on various weekdays in the evenings and for at least two weekend days per month. The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients.

Requirements

Experienced inpatient Physical Therapist
Experience in working in a large acute care facility
Team player

Responsibilities

Patient evaluation
Establishing plans of care and treatment programs
Providing interventions
Providing patient and family education
Documenting interventions
Billing appropriately
Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation
Participates in the orientation of new staff members
Serves as a clinical instructor for students
Exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases and with minimal to no supervision
