Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
About The Position
We’re looking for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a well-established outpatient clinic treating an adult population. Therapists enjoy working here due to a predictable patient population with all physicians in-house, a collaborative team environment where therapists work closely with physicians on treatment plans, and the encouragement to voice concerns and recommendations. The clinic focuses on quality patient care and continuity with reasonable productivity expectations averaging only 1.5 patients per hour. There is no weekend coverage or on-call responsibilities required, and electronic charting is shared with physicians.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
- Active PTA license in the state
- U.S. Citizen or green card holder
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians on treatment plans.
- Provide quality patient care and continuity.
- Manage patient caseload with reasonable productivity expectations (averaging 1.5 patients per hour).
- Utilize electronic charting shared with physicians.
