About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Cherry Lane. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a PTA who enjoys hands-on patient care and helping residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall function.
Requirements
- Active Maryland PTA license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered rehabilitation
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Guide residents through strengthening, gait training, balance, transfers, endurance, and mobility activities
- Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising PT
- Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress to the clinical team
- Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques
- Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
- Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
