About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to care for its diverse patient population. The role provides direct patient care and involves planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy in the PAM Health System. The PTA works under the direction of a Physical Therapist and contributes to the further development of services. The position requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is ideal, though a commitment and desire to learn are also welcomed.
Requirements
- Current PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement individualized treatment programs according to physical therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System.
- Contribute to the further development of services.
- Be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
